Product Return and Event Cancellation Policy

Order Cancellation

If you need to cancel an order immediately (prior to it being shipped) please call us at 707-878-9100.

Damaged or Missing Materials

Please notify The Foundation for Critical Thinking immediately upon receipt of materials if you received damaged or missing merchandise.  Damaged or missing materials will NOT be replaced if notification is not received within 1 week of the delivery date.

Event Registration Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all events sponsored by the Foundation for Critical Thinking and held in the U.S. For refunds, all cancellations must be received in writing no later than one month prior to the scheduled event. A $50.00 (per person) processing fee will be deducted from all refunds. Phone cancellations will not be accepted.  Cancellations may be received via fax, email or regular mail.  It is up to the registrant to confirm receipt of the cancellation request.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after the deadline. In extenuating circumstances, to be determined solely by the Foundation for Critical Thinking, a voucher for attendance at another Foundation for Critical Thinking Sponsored event might be offered.  Additional fees may be required.  Vouchers cannot be offered for international workshops and academies in England or any country other than the U.S.

Substitutions for persons attending can be made up to two weeks in advance without charge.  In the event of circumstances beyond its control, the Foundation for Critical Thinking reserves the right to amend or cancel any event.  The Foundation For Critical Thinking is not liable for any expense incurred by participants as a result of cancellation, such as travel or lodging expenses.
